Hayley Buckley

Hayley Buckley brings more than two decades of legal, governance and leadership experience to her role as Chair of the Hammerforce Board. She is recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading corporate lawyers, with deep expertise across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate governance.

As Chair, Hayley plays a pivotal role in guiding Hammerforce’s strategic direction and supporting the company’s global growth trajectory. Her focus is on ensuring Hammerforce continues to scale its innovative business model while maintaining the agility, governance and vision needed to succeed in international markets.

In addition to her role at Hammerforce, Hayley is a partner at leading New Zealand law firm Wynn Williams and an independent non-executive director of NZX-listed logistics company Mainfreight Limited. She has a strong track record of advising major corporates, private equity funds and management teams on complex transactions and strategic growth initiatives across New Zealand and international markets.

Hayley’s 25-year career spans senior roles in some of the world’s leading law firms, and she is qualified to practise in New Zealand, England and Wales. Her experience extends across transport and logistics, infrastructure, and education — industries where she has led some of the country’s most significant mergers, acquisitions and commercial arrangements.
